Can I switch plans later?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time. Plans are billed annually. If you downgrade and exceed the new plan's limits, your existing data stays safe but you won't be able to add more until you're within limits.
What happens if I stop paying?
Your vault is locked into read-only mode. Your trustees still receive access if your presence signal expires. We'll notify you 14 days before any data is at risk.
Is my data safe if Testamently shuts down?
Yes. Your secrets stay encrypted, and we provide a full data export at any time so you can take your encrypted vault offline.
Do you store my encryption keys?
All encryption happens in your browser and we store only ciphertext. By default your vault key is stored encrypted so your trustees can inherit your secrets after the trigger. For Zero-Knowledge secrets, the keys are held only by you and your chosen trustees — not even our team can read those.
